Charon Collier is a thanatologist, entrepreneur, program developer, death doula, and founder of Blueprint Vision Ventures. Her work brings together end-of-life care, professional development, community-based support, technology, and innovation to develop programs, ventures, and systems that can be tested and used in practice.

Death Tech + End-of-Life Innovation
Technology has reshaped nearly every part of life. The end of life and death should benefit from that progress without losing the human care at its center.
BVV explores how technology, professional practice, community-based support, and new service models can work together to improve how people and families experience serious illness, dying, death, grief, and remembrance.
BVV is interested in tools and systems that support access, coordination, visibility, education, continuity, and connection across end-of-life work.
Human care remains central. Technology should make it easier to support it.

Placed in the Work™ is BVV’s broader professional-development initiative focused on helping trained professionals, including doulas, move from education into credible, organized, sustainable professional practice.
The Confident Death Doula™ is BVV’s death-doula professional development program within Placed in the Work™.
PTW Collective™ is BVV’s professional member community for doulas supporting ongoing learning, professional relationships, peer connection, and continued development.
Through membership, doulas have opportunities to stay connected through events, professional gatherings, retreats, collaborative experiences, and other professional opportunities.
BVV Connect is the professional technology platform connecting healthcare systems, community organizations, and death doulas to coordinate end-of-life and grief support.
Through a professional directory, organizations find and invite doulas into their events and programs. Doulas build visibility, manage partnerships, and access learning and resources.
As functionality becomes available, BVV Connect will expand to include family access, communications, and coordination across the entire BVV ecosystem.
The Learning Commons is the learning and professional-resource environment within the BVV ecosystem. It supports continued education, professional development, field awareness, and connection to the evolving end-of-life care landscape.
The Learning Commons brings together Program resources, current research, field and industry developments, policy and regulatory updates, professional standards, organizational integration models, and practical resources.
DeathDoula.org is being developed to help people, families, and organizations find participating death doulas, understand their services, explore events and offerings, and connect directly with professionals who may fit their needs.
DeathDoula.app is the planned mobile experience designed to give participating doula professionals access to selected practice-management, professional information, and coordination tools on the go.

Connected by Purpose
Blueprint Ocean Legacy is a separate nonprofit organization also founded by Charon Collier. Its work brings grief and ocean conservation together through grief-informed ocean education, memorial programs, family experiences, and opportunities for people to honor those they love while becoming more connected to and caring for our oceans and coral reefs.
